- How secure is my banking data with Moneytor?
- Your banking data is protected with bank-level 256-bit encryption and stored in secure Australian data centres. We use Consumer Data Right (CDR) connections which are government-regulated and audited. We never store your banking passwords - only read-only access to transaction data.
- Can Moneytor access my money or make transactions?
- No, absolutely not. Moneytor only has read-only access to your transaction history and account balances. We cannot move money, make payments, or access your funds. Our CDR accreditation only allows viewing your financial data, never controlling it.
- Where is my data stored and who can access it?
- All your data is stored in certified Australian data centres and never shared with third parties. Only you can access your personal financial information through your secure account. We cannot view your individual transactions details like where you spent and how much.
- What happens if I want to delete my account?
- Currently, when you cancel your subscription, we transition you to a free plan. You can choose to delete your bank connections and all its related transactions at any time from your account settings. We are working on a full account deletion feature that will permanently remove all your personal data from our systems.
- How does Consumer Data Right (CDR) protect me?
- CDR is a government-backed framework that gives you control over your financial data. Banks must authenticate connections with multiple security layers, and you can revoke access anytime. CDR providers like Moneytor undergo regular security audits and compliance checks.
